SAP Security Architect

We are currently looking for an experienced SAP Security Architect to join a global SAP environment supporting critical business processes across an international organization.

In this role, you will be responsible for defining and leading the SAP security strategy, governance, and architecture across both on-premise and cloud-based landscapes. This is a senior-level position for a professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong stakeholder management and strategic security leadership.

Your responsibilities:

• Define, own, and evolve the SAP security architecture across on-premise and cloud environments.

• Drive a security-by-design approach across SAP programs and initiatives.

• Lead the design and implementation of SAP authorization concepts and access models.

• Govern and optimize role lifecycle management processes.

• Secure SAP Fiori front-end and SAP Gateway environments.

• Design and implement secure authentication and SSO patterns.

• Build and maintain SAP BTP security models.

• Lead the design of SAP security controls to support internal and external audits.

• Present SAP security posture, key risks, and roadmap recommendations to senior stakeholders.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, project teams, and external vendors to shape secure delivery outcomes.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to SAP security teams.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 15–20 years of experience in SAP Security.

• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP authorizations and security administration.

• Proven experience with S/4HANA security.

• Solid background in SAP cybersecurity, including risk and vulnerability management.

• Ability to work at both strategic and hands-on technical levels.

• Strong communication skills and experience working with senior stakeholders in large international environments.

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP GRC Access Control.

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or similar.

• Experience working in regulated environments.

• Familiarity with SAP security vulnerability management tools.

• Background in complex global organizations with large-scale SAP landscapes.
