SAP Security Architect

We’re accelerating our global S/4HANA transformation and expanding SAP BTP across a highly regulated, enterprise‑scale landscape.

Join us as the SAP Security Architect leading end‑to‑end security strategy, architecture, and governance for some of the most critical business and GxP‑validated systems.

Tasks

• Define and own the global SAP security architecture for on‑premise and cloud environments.

• Drive security‑by‑design across SAP programs, including S/4HANA transformations and global rollouts.

• Lead SAP authorization concept design and RBAC implementation across core business processes.

• Govern role design methodology, lifecycle processes, and transport/change management security.

• Secure SAP Fiori, SAP Gateway, and modern UX components including authentication and SSO patterns.

• Design and implement SAP BTP security models and integrate with enterprise identity services.

• Define security standards for SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, and middleware integrations.

• Lead BW/HANA and HANA DB security design, including privileges, auditing, and encryption.

• Oversee SAP security controls for audits (SOX/ITGC, GxP/CSV), SoD, emergency access, and monitoring.

• Provide technical leadership to SAP security teams and track key security performance metrics.

Expectations

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

• 15+ years of SAP Security experience with global implementations.

• Deep hands‑on expertise in SAP authorizations across S/4, BW, ATTP, GBT.

• Strong background in S/4HANA security and role redesign.

• Proven experience with SoD, SOX, ITGC, and audit/compliance initiatives.

• Solid SAP cybersecurity experience (hardening, logging, monitoring, vulnerability remediation).

• Ability to translate business needs into secure, scalable access designs.

• Excellent communication skills in English.

• Consulting background preferred; Big 4 highly desirable.

• Nice to have: SAP GRC, IAS/IPS, security certifications (CISSP/CISA/CISM/CRISC), GxP experience, and SAP security tools (SecurityBridge/Onapsis).
