SAP EWM Architect

  • Workload: Ad-hoc basis, approximately 20-40% workload

Summary: The role involves recruiting two external SAP EWM Architects on an ad hoc basis to support warehouse and logistics transformation initiatives. The architects will contribute significantly to designing and implementing efficient SAP EWM solutions aligned with business requirements.

• Responsibilities:

  • Lead the architectural design and implementation of SAP EWM solutions in the environment.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business process owners, project managers, and IT teams.

  • Analyze current warehouse processes to identify optimization and automation opportunities.

  • Translate business requirements into functional and technical SAP EWM solutions.

  • Ensure integration between EWM and other SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, TM).

  • Support testing, deployment, and hypercare phases.

  • Provide expert guidance and documentation on best practices and future scalability.

    
    

• Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an SAP EWM Architect in international manufacturing or logistics projects.

  • Strong hands-on expertise in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) – both embedded and decentralized setups are preferred.

  • Solid understanding of warehouse processes and their integration within the SAP landscape.

  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA environments.

  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a hybrid work setup.

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).

    
    

• Nice to Have:

  • Previous experience in large-scale global SAP rollouts.

  • Knowledge of SAP TM or other Supply Chain modules.

  • Experience working with external vendors or consulting firms.
