Release Manager

PROJECT INFORMATION:

SUMMARY:

The Release Manager role focuses on ensuring that technology platform releases are executed efficiently and with high quality. This role is essential to maintain compliance with organizational standards while collaborating with diverse stakeholders to secure successful delivery.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate, plan, and maintain a regular release roadmap for applications while managing multiple parallel releases.

• Manage release and deployment planning.

• Plan release go-live and post-go-live activities.

• Coordinate and track change activities throughout the release process.

• Lead release decision meetings for stakeholder approvals.

• Organize handover sessions from development to operations teams.

• Enhance release quality and efficiency through new techniques and automation.

• Collaborate with the central releasing team.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in IT or related disciplines.

• 7+ years of IT project management experience.

• Experience in release or deployment management, ideally in banking.

• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Proficient in tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• Advanced English language skills.

• Technical mindset with a foundational understanding of DevOps.

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with release orchestration tools (Helix, Digital.ai).

• Previous experience in a similar environment.
