As a Release Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth planning and execution of new releases to our client's technology platforms and applications. This involves working with various teams to deliver high-quality results in line with our client’s standards, while ensuring that operations run efficiently for both customers and the business.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinating, planning, and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications.
- Overseeing multiple parallel releases, including release and deployment planning.
- Organizing and tracking change activities throughout the release lifecycle.
- Leading release decision meetings, ensuring all stakeholders approve key milestones.
- Coordinating handovers from development teams to operations teams.
- Promoting release quality and efficiency through automation, new techniques, and DevOps practices.

Knowledge and Experience:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT or a related discipline.
- Excellent networking, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to plan, coordinate, and manage tasks effectively.
- Detail-oriented, with the ability to see the bigger picture and deliver on commitments.
- Proactive, accountable, and able to quickly adapt to changes.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- A technical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate with development teams.
Required Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management and planning.
- Prior experience in release or deployment management (preferably in the banking sector).
- Familiarity with ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management (preferably from the client's side).
- Strong experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment practices.
- Basic understanding of DevOps methodologies.
