The Project Assistant role is focused on supporting file share migration activities by coordinating and analyzing tasks, ensuring data integrity, and facilitating communication across stakeholders. The primary objective is to streamline migration processes while maintaining high-quality project oversight.
Main Responsibilities:
Supporting the analysis and coordination of file share migration activities.
Unifying file sources and maintaining data integrity throughout the migration process.
Distributing questionnaires to file share owners and following up on responses.
Communicating with stakeholders on a daily basis across all organizational levels.
Assisting in weekly and monthly reporting for management and project leadership.
Following planned migration batches and coordinating with share owners during execution.
Following up on requests from management/PM.
Owning and managing specific migration batches throughout the project lifecycle.
Working extended hours during migration periods (maximum 4 hours) approximately 2 weeks per month to support migration activities.
Key Requirements:
Strong proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Experience working with SharePoint lists and trackers for project coordination.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
Understanding of change management frameworks and methodologies.
High-level understanding of network file shares and protocols (CIFS/NFS).
Understanding of Active Directory groups and directory structures.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Flexibility to work extended hours during migration periods (approximately 2 weeks per month).
Nice to Have:
Previous experience in large-scale IT migration projects.
Background in stakeholder management and coordination.
Knowledge of DataDobi software migration tool.
