Platform Framework Developer

Assignment Overview

We are looking for an experienced external consultant developer to join our Platform Framework team and contribute to the Investor Uplift program.

The assignment focuses on strengthening and accelerating delivery of our shared platform capabilities—UI components built using the React Aria library, accessibility, charts built with Highcharts, Motion-powered animations, navigation, and overall developer experience—that are used across multiple feature teams delivering the new Investor experience.

The consultants will work closely with internal engineers, designers, and feature teams to ensure platform quality, scalability, and adoption across the organization.

This is a hands-on development role with strong engineering excellence, reusable components, automated testing, and cross-team enablement.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain reusable platform and UI framework components, leveraging React Aria for accessibility-first component behavior.

• Contribute to uplifting our Platform, including navigation, page transitions, charts (using Highcharts), and shared UI patterns.

• Improve accessibility, usability, and consistency across platform components, with accessibility built in by design.

• Identify, fix, and prevent platform-level defects, including performance and integration issues across consuming teams.

• Ensure high quality through automated testing, using Playwright for end-to-end testing and React Testing Library for component-level tests.

• Collaborate closely with feature teams consuming the framework.

• Engage with UX and design counterparts.

• Coordinate with platform and product stakeholders.

• Document component APIs and use Storybook to showcase component variants and states.

• Participate in sprint planning, demos, and technical alignment forums.

Key Requirements

• Strong experience as a frontend or full stack developer in large-scale web platforms.

• Proven experience building and maintaining component libraries or shared frameworks.

• Solid knowledge of modern TypeScript and component-based UI architectures.

• Hands-on experience with automated testing, including Playwright and React Testing Library.

• Experience working in complex, multi-team environments where platform code is consumed by many teams.

• Strong focus on code quality, reusability, testability, and maintainability.

• Comfortable collaborating in agile teams and contributing to shared technical standards.

Nice to Have

• Experience with React Aria or other accessibility-focused UI libraries.

• Experience with charts, data visualization, or financial UI components, especially using Highcharts.

• Experience improving accessibility (WCAG) and cross-device responsiveness.

• Familiarity with large enterprise platforms or regulated environments.

• Experience supporting developer experience (DX) through tooling, documentation, or APIs.

• Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and AI agents.
