Network Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Expert with a minimum of 5 years of proven experience in similar roles. This position requires extensive technical expertise in network protocols, security configurations, and performance analysis. The key responsibilities involve supporting internal teams and collaborating with IT stakeholders across multiple environments.

Main Responsibilities

• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Cisco or equivalent network devices.

• Ensure robust network performance, availability, and security across systems.

• Work with network protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.

• Manage firewall rules, ACLs, and VPNs for secure access and data protection.

• Support and optimize load balancing solutions; experience with F5 is a plus.

• Automate network tasks using scripting (PowerShell, JavaScript, LotusScript).

• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response as required.

• Provide clear documentation and support to development and integration teams.

• Foster collaboration with infrastructure and business stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.

Key Requirements

• Expert-level experience with Cisco or similar network equipment.

• Strong knowledge of core network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, EIGRP, OSPF).

• Proven ability to analyze and optimize network performance.

• Scripting abilities to automate or enhance network tasks (PowerShell, JavaScript, LotusScript).

• Certifications like CCNA, CCNP, Network+ are a plus.

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of F5 BIG-IP, Check Point, or ITIL Foundation.
