Introduction & Summary
The consulting role focuses on supporting the implementation of a new surveillance solution within a leading bank. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in automated surveillance systems and data analysis, particularly in the context of market abuse monitoring. Key skills required are proficiency in detection models, data sourcing, and regulatory understanding.
Main Responsibilities
The consultant will play a critical role in the ongoing project, which includes:
Analyzing detection models and data requirements related to market abuse surveillance.
Collaborating with technology teams to clarify requirements and address incidents.
Tuning and calibrating detection models for trade and order surveillance.
Collaborating with internal and external teams for new developments.
Participating in and driving internal reviews of model calibration.
Key Requirements
Prior experience with implementation and requirements analysis for automated surveillance systems.
Experience in markets, products, detection models analysis, calculations, threshold tuning, and calibration.
Solid data analysis skills.
Experience managing large datasets and multiple data sources.
Previous work with Nice Actimize MSE solution and familiarity with the associated data model.
Proficient in analyzing and sourcing data from authoritative data sources.
Understanding of capital market products concerning market abuse regulations.
Nice to Have
Experience working within a compliance function.
Other Details
This position is based in Warsaw, with Gdańsk as an alternative location option. The work setting is hybrid, with 3 days/week onsite.
The consultant will work in a dynamic environment focusing on financial regulations and compliance-driven projects.
