About the Role

As a Lead Business Analyst, you will play a central role in end-to-end supplier integration, SAP Purchase & Distribution processes, and digitalisation initiatives. You will act as the primary link between global suppliers, external partners, OpenText, internal SAP and IT teams, warehouse operations, and supply chain stakeholders. Your focus will be to ensure that digital message flows run smoothly and support reliable, efficient business operations.

This is a high-impact role for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of business processes, system integrations, supplier collaboration, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Driving the implementation, testing, and troubleshooting of EDI message flows for suppliers across multiple markets.

• Working with message types such as ORDERS, ORDRSP, DESADV, ORDCHG, and STPPOD.

• Analysing EDI, XML, and EDIFACT structures, validating mapping requirements, identifying errors, and providing clear examples or corrections to suppliers and external partners.

• Guiding suppliers through onboarding, connectivity setup, and end-to-end message testing via OpenText Trading Grid.

• Monitoring, analysing and resolving IDoc errors to ensure stable inbound and outbound message processing in SAP.

• Supporting inbound delivery corrections, HU assignments, SAP logistics execution steps, and warehouse-related integration topics.

• Collaborating closely with warehouse and logistics teams on label requirements, SSCC codes, multiple packing levels, barcode structures, and packing data quality.

• Acting as a first-line expert for suppliers regarding EDI issues, connectivity problems, incorrect messages, missing packing data, or process-related questions.

• Translating technical and process requirements into clear, actionable guidance for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
  

Required Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

• Solid experience with SAP Supply Chain processes, especially Purchase & Distribution, inbound deliveries, logistics execution, and IDoc processing

• Strong understanding of EDI message types and integration flows

• Experience in analysing and troubleshooting EDI, XML, EDIFACT, IDoc, and mapping-related issues

• Ability to resolve complex system issues across SAP, OpenText, and supplier interfaces

• Experience working with suppliers, IT teams, and supply chain functions in a global environment

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to turn technical topics into clear, actionable business guidance

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships with suppliers, colleagues, and external partners

• A structured, detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage several topics in parallel
