The Junior Developer – BMC Helix Platform role involves supporting the development, configuration, and maintenance of business workflows in the BMC Helix ecosystem, contributing to global IT operations within a matrix organization.
- Handle incidents and service requests in BMC Helix, including logging, triage, and resolution, adhering to ITIL processes and SLAs.
- Diagnose issues, troubleshoot problems, and apply fixes.
- Update tickets with accurate information including categorization and actions taken.
- Monitor assigned queues, follow up on pending items, and escalate critical cases.
- Contribute to knowledge articles and document resolutions.
- Assist in the development and configuration of BMC Helix solutions.
- Support implementation of business workflows and basic customizations.
- Help translate business requirements into platform configurations.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with senior developers.
- Document technical changes and perform unit testing.
- Develop knowledge of the BMC Helix platform and seek feedback from seniors.
- Experience with BMC Helix or related ITSM platforms.
- Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.
