Role: IT Risk & Compliance Specialist

Rate: up to 110 zł/h netto+vat (B2B)

Location: hybrid model 3x/week in the office Gdynia or Gdańsk or Warsaw

Summary: The role focuses on establishing and integrating operational controls within company's Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting various teams in implementing effective control measures.

Main Responsibilities:

• Work in close collaboration with the company business/technology areas to establish controls and map controls as required by internal and external auditors.

• Review and understand Business Continuity and Crisis Management (BCCM) Testing Framework uplifts where operational controls are required.

• Establish and integrate operational controls within the BCCM framework using company guidelines.

• Prepare a list of company Guidelines, EBA guidelines, and other regulatory requirements as relevant and control documentation.

• Continuously update as the project matures.

• Support Technology Risk Management team (1LoD), BCCM 1st LoD, and BCCM RRP to implement controls.

• Monitor and report controls for effectiveness purposes.

• Support BCCM RRP Project 0.10 delivery lead with documentation of controls.

• Keep track of all open actions coming out of meetings, plan follow-up actions, and support the Delivery lead with timely updates.

Key Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in a similar role, collaborating with 2LOD, 3LOD, and business stakeholders.

• Experience with failover and backup testing preferable.

• Good understanding of BCCM framework and processes.

• Experience with risk and controls management methodology; ability to identify and document controls for identified risks.

• Hands-on experience in project documentation, preparation of presentation, and delivery documents.

• Ability to collaborate extensively across different teams and rationalize those inputs.

• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks.

• Understanding of operational controls and testing frameworks.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in financial services, particularly regulated environments.

• Familiarity with specific compliance tools or software used in risk management.
