Introduction & Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Expert, proficient in both technical and functional domains, to support the Finance department's target operating model (TOM) initiative. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Finance/Accounting within asset management and demonstrate exceptional skills in analyzing and optimizing processes. This role will require collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful definition and implementation of the TOM, alongside the appointed consultancy firm. A pre-study to define the TOM (target operating model) for the Finance department covering Finance, Tax, Procurement and Fund Finance processes has started. In this context, we would like to reinforce the IT team pole Finance with an external consultant to accompany the entire TOM definition and implementation in close collaboration with the business. They will will play a key role in structuring, implementing, and steering the project.

Main Responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for:

• Analyzing existing Finance and Accounting processes and proposing optimizations.

• Contributing to the selection and implementation of an end-to-end solution.

• Translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications.

• Leading or contributing to design activities (scoping, specifications, functional architecture).

• Coordinating various stakeholders (Finance, Accounting, Procurement, IT, software vendors, system integrators).

• Ensuring monitoring of deliverables, timelines, and dependencies.

• Supporting testing, deployment, and change management phases.

• Acting as the main point of contact for the TOM Finance project.

Key Requirements
Applicants must possess the following qualifications:

• Solid experience in Finance / Accounting within an asset management environment.

• Strong knowledge of finance, accounting, and procurement processes (GL, AP/AR, Activity-Based Costing, Budgeting/Forecasting, closing, reporting, regulatory requirements).

• Strong understanding of operational and regulatory challenges in the asset management industry.

• Proven experience in IT Finance projects (ERP, accounting tools, reporting systems).

• Ability to work closely with technical teams and to challenge proposed solutions.

• Strong understanding of IT project lifecycles (scoping, build, testing, run).

• Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies (Azure DevOps, Agile methodology).

• High level of autonomy, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

• Leadership mindset and ability to act as a subject-matter reference.

Nice to Have
Preferred qualifications include:

• Additional experience in similar roles within other sectors.

• Familiarity with modern financial technologies.

• Further certifications in project management or finance-related disciplines.
