About the role

As a Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining product specifications and release specifications, shaping the product strategy, prioritizing features, and coordinating the development cycle. This role requires strong collaboration across multiple stakeholder groups — from architects to engineering teams to business representatives — and the ability to combine product perspective with technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities

1) Defining and maintaining product and release specifications

• Collaborating with product development and customer‑facing teams to define and refine specifications.

• Consulting with system architects to ensure alignment with architectural principles and technical guidelines.

• Ensuring that implementations accurately reflect user expectations and business requirements.

2) Developing the product strategy

• Defining the development strategy and functional scope for tools supporting build automation and software release processes.

• Overseeing execution of the strategy in close cooperation with technical architects.

• Coordinating with other product teams to ensure consistency across the broader platform.

3) Feature prioritization

• Analyzing user needs and technical complexity, then documenting them in specifications.

• Balancing different stakeholder perspectives and making decisions that establish the appropriate trade‑offs.

• Managing the product backlog and prioritizing items based on business value and feasibility.

4) Managing the development cycle

• Working with engineering teams and architecture to support smooth delivery of development activities.

• Gathering requirements from stakeholders and translating them into clear materials for engineering teams.

• Maintaining a basic understanding of the tools and technologies used in build automation, along with general awareness of products maintained by other teams.

Requirements (must‑have)

• Experience as a Product Owner in a complex and scalable technical environment.

• Ability to gather requirements, create specifications, and manage a product backlog.

• Practical experience with agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum or SAFe).

• Familiarity with tools supporting software development and automation (e.g., CI/CD and DevOps tools).

• Experience working with artifact storage and management tools.

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills for cross‑team collaboration.

• Experience with documentation and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Markdown).

• English language proficiency at B2 level or higher.

Nice to have

• Basic understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, access‑control mechanisms, and observability tools.

• Experience in industries requiring high availability and operational reliability.

• Experience with platform tools offering user interfaces for managing technical components.

Soft skills

• Systems thinking and the ability to balance business needs with technical constraints.

• High independence and strong facilitation skills for aligning diverse teams.

• Ability to plan, prioritize, and work with product roadmaps.

• Strong attention to detail in documentation and communication with engineering teams.
