IAM Specialist

Contract type: B2B (freelancing contract)

Working mode: Remote

We are seeking an experienced IAM Architect / IAM Engineer / Identity & Access Management Specialist with strong hands-on skills in Microsoft Entra ID and related IAM platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of identity architectures, Zero Trust principles, and automation processes to enhance security and streamline identity management in an organization.

Main Responsibilities

• Design and implement IAM solutions to support organizational goals.

• Manage user and service accounts effectively within Microsoft Entra ID.

• Develop and enforce Conditional Access policies and MFA strategies.

• Implement identity protection measures and access governance workflows.

• Create architectural documentation, including High-Level and Low-Level Designs.

• Support audits and access review,s ensuring compliance with industry standards.

• Automate IAM processes using PowerShell and REST APIs.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives.

Key Requirements

• 3–5+ years of experience in Identity & Access Management or related infrastructure roles.

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Entra ID.

• Practical experience with EmpowerID or similar IAM platforms.

• Solid understanding of identity architectures and Zero Trust principles.

• Proven project experience with IAM implementations and migrations.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure ecosystem focusing on identity security services.

• Experience with automation using PowerShell and REST APIs.

• Fluency in English (B2+/C1 level) with strong communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.

• Additional language skills are a plus.

• Prior experience in identity consolidation projects.

• Understanding of GDPR, ISO 27001, and SOC 2 compliance standards.
