Senior Security Engineer - Endpoint security

Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model (up to 3 remote days per week).

As a Senior Endpoint Security Engineer, you will be working for our client, a global leader in cybersecurity within the financial services industry. You will help build and fortify the organization’s defenses by developing and deploying cutting-edge endpoint security solutions, primarily focusing on Linux environments. Your main responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize endpoint security, antimalware, and related controls across Linux systems.

• Collaborate with Linux management teams and cybersecurity experts to develop robust security solutions.

• Automate security tasks and processes using scripting languages and configuration management tools like Ansible.

• Monitor and analyze security threats targeting endpoints, with exposure to CrowdStrike or similar tools.

• Support cloud infrastructure security, including AWS and Azure, integrating security controls seamlessly.

• Lead efforts in vulnerability mitigation, troubleshooting, and incident response related to endpoint environments.

• Advocate for security best practices and continuous improvement in endpoint security posture.

You're ideal for this role if you have:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Linux security, endpoint protection, and antimalware solutions.

• Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or similar.

• Practical experience with Ansible Automation Engine and related automation tools.

• Familiarity with CrowdStrike or equivalent endpoint protection platforms.

• Exposure to cloud environments like AWS or Azure, and infrastructure as code tools such as GIT, Jenkins, Puppet.

• Proven ability to automate security tasks and manage security solutions at scale.

• Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Demonstrated success working cross-functionally with diverse teams and vendors.

It is a strong plus if you have:

• Certifications in cybersecurity or cloud platforms.

• Experience with security in large, complex network environments.

• Knowledge of network, application, and cloud security controls.

• Prior leadership or mentorship experience within security teams.

Language Required for the role:

• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
