Summary: The Cloud / Platform Operations Engineer role is primarily focused on ensuring the reliability, scaling, and security of production workloads on AWS platforms to support organizational objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain production systems on AWS.

• Scale workloads efficiently while ensuring security compliance.

• Manage containerized applications using ECS Fargate.

• Handle large-scale compute workloads using AWS Batch.

• Ensure IAM configurations adhere to security best practices.

• Provide operational support for Windows Server environments.

• Support incident response and perform root cause analysis.

• Optimize costs and monitor resource usage effectively.

Key Requirements:

• Strong general AWS knowledge (networking, security, monitoring, cost awareness).

• Hands-on experience with ECS Fargate.

• Experience with AWS Batch.

• Solid understanding of IAM configurations.

• Operational experience with Windows Server at scale.

• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory integration with AWS.

• Experience in on-call support and handling incidents.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with streaming/event-driven architectures (e.g., Kafka, Flink).

• Familiarity with non-relational datastores.

• Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform.
