Cloud Engineer

• Rate: up to 180 pln/h net + VAT, B2B

• Location: Warsaw (hybrid - 2/3 days per week in the office)

Summary: This role involves contributing to the development of Client’s cloud infrastructure, enhancing cloud performance, and ensuring seamless collaboration across teams to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

• Contribute to the development of technology for Client’s cloud infrastructure, including private, public, and hybrid cloud environments.

• Help build the cloud foundation at Client and support application uplift to cloud.

• Monitor and analyze key metrics within the cloud environment to enhance performance and reliability.

• Develop automated strategies for incident management within the cloud technologies.

• Collaborate with other teams in Client’s Cloud Centre of Excellence to align solutions with business goals.

• Analyze technical requirements about cost optimization, scalability, and performance.

Key Requirements:

• Solid experience building applications or services on a large-scale distributed cloud platform.

• Experience in delivering Infrastructure as Code utilizing tools such as Terraform.

• Strong knowledge of automation scripting languages (Python/JavaScript/Go).

• Exposure to Container Platforms (Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines including security management.

• Experience with Configuration Management and Deployment Tools.

• Experience with networking security, design principles, and services (firewalls, private networks, etc.).

• Experience with integration of systems/services through REST and OPEN APIs.

• Understanding of Cyber Security and general security mechanisms.

• Knowledge of DevOps best practices related to monitoring, logging, and automation.

• Excellent interpersonal communication skills and experience in multidisciplinary team collaboration.

• Preferable experience in financial or other regulated industries.
