Cloud/BRD Transition Lead

Project background:

Currently there are two hosting partners: one offshore company for Cloud management in AWS and SAP basis, and one nearshore company for data center operation/on-premise service management.

A new global partner (offshore) has been nominated to operate in 2026 for On-Premise, AWS, SAP basis, and Azure Workload. This new partner will manage the migration/transformation to migrate all AWS/GCP workload to Azure Landing Zone. The transition will kick off mid-January and we need to have a transition lead to ensure successful transition on time.

The goal:

This role involves managing IT infrastructure transition between the new and the incumbent partners, with a focus on vendor management, transition planning, and project delivery. You'll work closely with Infrastructure teams and partners to ensure all transition phases are successful.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage IT infrastructure transitions.

• Collaborate with vendors to align with project goals.

• Develop and execute risk management and transition plans.

• Identify and manage Operations risks ensuring a successful transition to service.

• Provide guidance, knowledge sharing of the STP and support sign-off for all key project stages and artefacts via Service Transition Boards.

• Monitor project progress and update stakeholders.

• Manage budgets, resources, and ensure compliance with governance processes.

• Resolve challenges during the transition.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in IT infrastructure and transition management.

• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

• Proven track record of successful project delivery.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Knowledge of governance standards and risk management.

• Technical background in Cloud, Networking, VMware infrastructures, Windows Server, Linux, and Cybersecurity.

• Fluency in English; French is a plus.

Position is primarily for Europe/Africa/Middle-East, with a preference for Europe location.
