Principal Engineer

• Position: Principal Engineer / PDLC Manager

• Location: 100% remote from Poland

• Budget: up to 44,000 PLN per month

The client is an international technology company operating at the intersection of AI, SaaS, and video production. They have extensive experience delivering a large volume of multimedia projects for a wide range of customers, from global enterprises to smaller businesses.

They are currently developing an AI-powered SaaS platform designed to streamline and accelerate early-stage video creation workflows. Rather than focusing on fully automated video generation, the platform supports creative teams with tools for ideation, scripting, storyboarding, collaboration, and production planning. The solution leverages modern AI models for text, image, and video, combined with workflow orchestration and prompt optimization. It follows a human-in-the-loop approach, where AI enhances rather than replaces the work of creative professionals.

About the role

We are looking for a highly senior, hands-on engineering leader who can combine strong technical execution with product thinking and team mentorship. This is a fast-paced AI/product environment where the expectation is to move quickly, ship often, and continuously improve engineering velocity and workflows.

The person joining the team will own and optimize the PDLC/SDLC process end-to-end, help introduce modern AI-first development practices, and work closely with Product & Experience Managers on delivering full-stack solutions. The role requires a strong builder mindset — someone capable of independently driving projects from idea to deployment while mentoring other engineers and raising the overall engineering standards across the team.

The ideal candidate brings experience from SaaS or startup environments, has worked with AI/GenAI workflows, and enjoys operating in a highly iterative, product-driven culture with significant ownership and autonomy.

Key responsibilities

• Own and improve the PDLC/SDLC process end-to-end

• Deliver and deploy full-stack AI/product solutions

• Increase engineering velocity and improve workflows

• Mentor and grow the engineering team

Must-have experience

• Strong SaaS/product engineering background

• Hands-on full-stack engineering experience

• Experience with AI/GenAI workflows and tooling
