We are looking for an experienced Product Owner to join our client, a global leader in data management and product information solutions. This role will focus on a product migration project that involves finalizing and refining the remaining features of an acquired platform, ensuring seamless functionality across systems, and optimizing the data and content experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management or business analysis, with a deep understanding of how to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and technical specifications.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in Product Management or Business Analysis, with a track record of driving product requirements from concept to delivery
• Demonstrated expertise in writing user stories and translating business requirements into clear, actionable, and detailed specifications that guide development
• Experience in syndication, eCommerce, or similar industries is preferred 
• Familiarity with data management solutions and product migration projects, with a focus on integrating new functionalities into existing systems
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and go-to-market (GTM) strategies, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of products
• Ability to work collaboratively within a highly functional, technical team
• No technical coding background is required, but an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of product development is essential

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) or Global Data Synchronization Network (GDSN)
• Prior experience working on projects involving food service distributors or similar audiences

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and document detailed product requirements, translating business needs into clear, actionable user stories and technical specifications
• Lead the product through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from architecture review to engineering, testing, and launch
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX teams to ensure seamless user interface design, turning wireframes into high-fidelity designs
• Focus on writing user stories and functional requirements based on already-discovered high-level features
• Support the migration process from legacy software and ensure the integration of remaining features into the final product
• Manage product backlogs by prioritizing tasks and ensuring the team is focused on high-impact features
• Engage with stakeholders and customers to ensure alignment with business needs and project goals
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, marketing, and customer support) to ensure smooth execution of product features and timely delivery
• Monitor product performance post-launch, gather user feedback, and propose improvements or adjustments to enhance user experience and functionality
