Senior DevOps Engineer (Senior Software Engineer with Kubernetes, Go, Python)

Currently, we’re working with a client specialising in AI solutions at scale. The platform helps automate and scale ML processes, allowing access regardless of technical prowess. 

Please note that working within this project means some availability for meetings in EST timezone (mainly till 19:00, usually no later than 17:00) and fluent English.

The team needs strong engineers to help simplify the inference architecture, reduce network hops and application proxies, and optimize for low-latency, scalability, and reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Migrating to and standardizing the new API gateway (based on Tyk),

• Extending the gateway with plugins for service health checks and rate-limiting,

• Supporting the reliability of different upstreams and services.

Required Skills and Competencies:

• Production experience with Kubernetes (minimum CKAD, ideally CKA),

• Proficiency in Python and Go,

• Bonus: experience with KEDA and Tyk,

• Strong DevOps/SWE background with a focus on scalable, reliable systems.
