FinTech Technical Lead

We seek a skilled and mature Technical Lead to help us build a modern trading platform. The platform provides the most popular trading instruments (FX, metals, indices, energy, and crypto) with core spreads starting at zero pips. The unique technology scope and great relationships with tier-one banks and prime brokers enabled us to provide deep custom liquidity, capable of handling the needs of even the most sophisticated clients like large-ticket or HFT traders. 

As Technical Lead, you will lead our technology strategy, drive innovation, and ensure that the technology infrastructure supports our rapid growth in the fintech industry. The ideal candidate for this leadership role has a passion for financial technology and is looking to make a significant impact in a high-growth company.

Responsibilities

● Deliver reliable, low-latency trading connections to our global retail customer base.

● Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and drives innovation in the fintech space.

● Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of

high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions.

● Lead and mentor a team of engineers and developers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

● Drive best practices in software engineering, including full-stack development, web

development, and cloud infrastructure.

● Lead efforts in data mining and business intelligence to support data-driven decision-making and product improvements.

● Collaborate closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure technology initiatives meet business needs.

● Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, leading research and development initiatives to keep the company at the forefront of the fintech space.

● Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the company technology

infrastructure, adhering to industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

● Self-starter with the ability to lead and inspire a technical team.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

● Advanced proficiency with MT4 and/or MT5.

● Advanced proficiency in software engineering, including full-stack development. Programming languages in use include C#, C++, ASP.NET, PHP, and JavaScript.

● Strong understanding of international networking with a specific focus on regions with internet censorship such as China.

● Advanced proficiency with database management systems, specifically MySQL hosted on AWS RDS using the Aurora engine.

● Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

● 8 to 10 years of experience in technology leadership roles, with a strong focus on financial technology.

● Proven experience in financial technology, product management, and trading.

● Experience working in or with companies such as PrimeXM, Playtech, bet365, or similar fintech organizations.

This is a position which requires working 40 hours per week. This position is intended for candidates based in European time zones.
