Test Lead - Functional Testing

🧩 About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Test Lead – Functional Testing to join our QA team. In this role, you’ll lead the planning, execution, and management of functional testing activities to ensure project deliverables meet the highest quality standards. You'll work closely with clients and internal teams, mentor QA engineers, and drive the continuous improvement of our testing frameworks and strategies.

🎯 Your Responsibilities:

• Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and internal stakeholders.

• Analyze requirements and translate them into test cases and automation scripts.

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test suites in line with system updates and new features.

• Design scalable and reusable test automation frameworks.

• Create and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies.

• Ensure timely delivery of testing milestones aligned with project goals.

• Mentor and guide QA engineers to optimize productivity and technical growth.

• Manage test data and report on testing status, risks, and issues.

🛠 Your Skillset:

• Strong understanding of functional testing principles and best practices.

• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).

• Proven ability to design test plans, frameworks, and strategies.

• Familiarity with performance testing tools and techniques.

• Good understanding of database testing and data validation.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and leadership mindset.

🎓 Nice to Have:

• ISTQB Certified Tester (Foundation Level)

• Certified Selenium Tester or similar automation certification
