ServiceNow Developer – Event Management

You will design and develop advanced Event Management, CMDB, and IT operations automation solutions in a large enterprise environment. Role Overview

As a ServiceNow Developer specializing in Event Management, you will build, customize, and maintain ServiceNow ITOM modules, integrate monitoring systems, and ensure high-quality event correlation across complex infrastructure.This role requires strong hands-on development experience in ServiceNow and excellent scripting skills.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Development

• Configure and customize ServiceNow ITOM modules — Event Management, CMDB, Operational Intelligence.

• Build and maintain integrations with monitoring tools and external systems.

• Implement CI correlation, service mapping, and CMDB relationship models.

• Develop scripts (Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions).

Maintenance & Support

• Perform platform upgrades, patching, performance improvements.

• Troubleshoot issues across Event Management and CMDB.

• Participate in on-call rotations for critical infrastructure support.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of ServiceNow development experience.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Event Management and CMDB.

• Proficiency with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, REST/SOAP APIs.

• Experience with ServiceNow scripting: Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Scripts, UI Policies.

• Ability to design integrations with monitoring platforms.

Certifications (Required/Preferred)

• CSA – Certified System Administrator (required)

• CIS – Event Management (preferred/strong advantage)

Nice to Have

• Experience with Discovery or Automation Engine

• Operational Intelligence module

• Work in large distributed environments
