Business Analyst
Responsibilities:
Models and documents value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities, and data
Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements, and user stories
Supports business experts and product owners during the definition of requirements and software development
Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories throughout the systems lifecycle
Translates business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications
Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features
Analyses available systems and evaluates potential solutions
Supports identification of options for possible solutions
Assists in the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies
Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management
Designs, validates, and tests business processes to achieve business process excellence
Takes a holistic approach in planning and managing programmes for continuous improvement of business processes
Coaches staff on upcoming changes and ensures plans are in place to teach new skills and/or implement process changes
Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually identify opportunities for improvement
Identifies opportunities for business process optimization, leading to improved customer service, reduced costs, or increased revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)
Communicates project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders to ensure alignment and rapid response to business needs
Conducts quantitative analysis of business processes, including cost-benefit and what-if scenarios
Plans and manages organizational change processes
Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes
Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g., sector strategies, implementation plans, etc.)
Supports the definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures
Requirements:
Minimum 8 years of relevant IT experience
Minimum 5 years in similar position
Bachelor's degree in ICT
At least 2 certifications among: Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) or equivalent; Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)
English level: C1 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam
Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution
Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation
Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis
Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.)
Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others
Presents excellent analytical and communication skills
Holds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively
Presents problem solving skills
Has knowledge or experience from projects in the area of authentic and false identity and travel documents
Has knowledge or experience from projects related to systems processing large number of images
