Business Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Models and documents value chains/streams, business processes, roles, capabilities and data

• Elicits and analyses business needs, requirements, and user stories

• Supports business experts and product owners during the definition of requirements and software development

• Maintains and tracks requirements/user stories throughout the systems lifecycle

• Translates business, user, and technical needs into business requirements specifications

• Maps business goals, project benefits, priorities, components, and system features

• Analyses available systems and evaluates potential solutions

• Supports identification of options for possible solutions

• Assists in the preparation of business cases and feasibility studies

• Contributes to systems design, testing, quality assurance, and change management

• Designs, validates, and tests business processes to achieve business process excellence

• Takes a holistic approach in planning and managing programmes for continuous improvement of business processes

• Coaches staff on upcoming changes and ensures plans are in place to teach new skills and/or implement process changes

• Collaborates with owners of end-to-end processes to continually identify opportunities for improvement

• Identifies opportunities for business process optimization, leading to improved customer service, reduced costs, or increased revenue (effectiveness and efficiency gains)

• Communicates project objectives, business cases, requirements, and scope to stakeholders to ensure alignment and rapid response to business needs

• Conducts quantitative analysis of business processes, including cost-benefit and what-if scenarios

• Plans and manages organizational change processes

• Implements performance monitoring systems for business processes

• Supports business users in developing strategic and tactical plans (e.g., sector strategies, implementation plans, etc.)

• Supports the definition of transition roadmaps for business architectures

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT experience

• Minimum 3 years in similar position

• Bachelor's degree

• At least 2 certifications among: Certification of Capability in Business Analysis™ (CCBA) or equivalent; Certified UML Professional certificate at foundation level or BPM 2 fundamental level or equivalent; or equivalent certifications recognized internationally (subject to acceptance as a valid credential by the Contracting Authority)

• English level: C1 confirmed by a certificate or be willing to take the exam

• Has gone at least 1 time through the complete lifecycle of the software solution

• Knowledge in business processes modelling using BPMN notation

• Knowledge in requirements/user stories elicitation and analysis

• Knows analysis/modelling notations like UML (capability diagram, activity diagram, state diagram, logical data model etc.)

• Is proficient in using modelling tools like Sparx Enterprise Architect, Aris Architect or others

• Presents excellent analytical and communication skills

• Holds ability to create and maintain analytical and project documentation effectively

• Presents problem solving skills

• Had role of the BA for a large-scale project (above 1 year duration and over €1M budget) of deployment enterprise resource planning system

• Experienced in analysis of the following business processes: Logistics, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, Fleet Management, Financial Management, Legal, HR, Project Management

• Experienced in business analysis considering capabilities of the Microsoft technologies: SharePoint 2019, SharePoint Subscription Edition, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse

• Experienced in business analysis considering capabilities of the Service Now platform (custom applications and standard Service Now modules): Enterprise Assets Management, Strategic Porfolio Management, Customer Service Management (in on-prem and clould set-up)
