    Application Support Specialist


    Responsibilities:

    • Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for applications within the Customer Engagement - Corporate Service Domain
    • Administer and maintain Linux and Windows Server OS environments to support business-critical applications
    • Manage and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes.
    • Ensure the stability, availability, and performance of supported applications
    • Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve technical issues reported by international users
    • Identify and implement automation solutions to streamline application maintenance and operations

     

    Requirements:

    • Proven experience in managing and maintaining business-critical applications
    • Advanced knowledge and hands-on experience in managing Linux environments, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
    • Experience in administering and maintaining Windows Server systems, ensuring reliability and security
    • Practical experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes, including deployment and monitoring
    • Familiarity with automation solutions, including the ability to develop and maintain scripts or workflows
    • Working knowledge of ITIL v3 best practices, particularly in incident, change, and problem management
    • At least a few years of experience in application maintenance roles, preferably in 2nd/3rd level support for international users
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with international teams and stakeholders
    • Fluent English written and spoken
    • Experience in working with TCP/IP and configuration with Oracle and MS SQL databases

    Nice to have:

    • Experience with Bamboo or similar CI/CD tools
