Senior Project Manager in IT Supply Chain

Become part of DELMIA Quintiq Services Team as a Project Manager for international projects. Your mission is to lead DS customers toward the digitalization and innovation process adoption, managing complex business/IT dynamics within the project. As Project Manager, you will ensure Customer and DS teams engagement during the project lifecycle in order to manage and guide the digital transformation of DS Customers with focus in delivering the committed value, securing the full adoption of DS customer-centric industrial solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be the main referral contact point of DS Customers, building a trust based relationship, in both business and IT teams on Customer, and addressing customer’s business needs while managing the execution of the project activities on Time, on Quality and on Budget. 

The position is located in our office in Krakow. Other locations in Poland might be considered based on candidate skills.

Role Description & Responsibilities

•  Foster trust based relationship with business and IT customer teams, driving a valuable partnership 

•  Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, associated activities & resources to ensure successful contract execution

•  Project procurement management 

•  Proved experience and a good understanding of contracting in Fix Price and T&M is a must. 

•  Lead and/or contribute to the definition of the Statement of Work (SOW) and other contractual documentation 

•  Secure execution accordingly

•  Create and manage project plan and scope throughout the lifecycle of the projects

•  Monitor execution on time, quality and budget (cost and revenue), securing project baseline and margin

•  Identify, evaluate, categorize the impact and communicate project risks. Define, implement and monitor/track mitigation action plans

•  Strong skills in escalation management and senior C-level reporting

•  Staffing forecasting and resource management 

•  Manage and provide guidance to the project team

•  Prepare/update the business forecast and ensure consistency with information systems

•  Proactively identification new business opportunities during project execution

•  Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability. Ensure maximum reuse of existing Best Practices, and create new ones

•  Produce the lessons learned and secure adoption during the project execution

Position implies high availability for traveling, both continental and intercontinental, with a target up to 50% of business time in rush periods.

Qualifications

•  More than 10 years of experience as project/program manager in IT software implementation for external customer in Supply Chain in international projects

•  Ability and proven experience in managing big remote teams of 20-30 consultants in remote (multi-locations)

•  Leadership qualities and excellent organizational skills

•  Demonstrated ability to act professionally with diverse groups of executives, managers, subject matter experts 

•  Demonstrated ability to perform risk analysis, manage budget and perform resource planning of multiyear and multimillion IT projects

•  Demonstrated ability to manage external stakeholders as suppliers and partners

•  Strong skills in Microsoft Projects 

•  Very good command of English

•  Ability to travel (up to 50% of the business time)

•  Preferable skills and experience:

•  Master’s degree in a related field

•  Good knowledge of Italian / French / Turkish language is a big plus

•  Experience with Supply Chain Planning software

•  Project Management methodology trainings and certifications (such as PMP, Lean) will be a valuable asset
