Senior PowerBI Developer

For our customer, a company specializing in implementing data management solutions, including data warehouses, integrations, transformations, and data modeling, we are looking for a Senior PowerBI Developer who will join the project team and participate in projects for foreign clients.

Project information:

• Industry: Consulting (HoReCa, Financial, e-commerce)

• Location: Wrocław, 100% remote

• Type of employment: b2b or employment contract

• Budget: 100-125 net/h on a b2b contract

• Project language: Polish, English

• Start date: ASAP

Project scope:

• Designing and implementing complex Power BI models (Import, Direct Query and Dual)

• Designing and implementing complex, rich in content and controls dashboards and reports in Power BI (including UX/UI designs)

• Propose Source objects (Data Marts) data layout and structure to improve reload and refresh times

• Using DAX to develop custom logic for metrics, KPIs, and organisation measures

• Analysing, optimising and improving existing BI solutions

• Close cooperation with the business analysts and stakeholders

• Preparing documentation

Requirements:

• At least 4 years of experience working with the PowerBI platform

• Practical experience working with database systems such as Azure SQL or Synapse Analytics, Oracle DB, or IBM Db2

• Fluency in the development of complex reports and dashboards in PowerBI

• Very good knowledge of DAX

• Experience with BI / DWH / Data Lake and Lakehouse concepts, including data modeling

• Good knowledge of any SQL language (T-SQL would be an advantage)

• Familiarity with redesigning existing PowerBI models, as well as UI / UX optimizations

• Experience in performance optimizations (refresh time, smooth UX)

• Understanding of Power BI Service and Eco-System, including setup, administration, and tweaks

• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities

• Excellent communication skills in Polish and English

• Proactive approach and willingness to share knowledge with the Team

• Leadership approach and willingness to further develop

Nice to have:

• Experience in the design and implementation of ETL / ELT processes and DW structure

• Understanding of Microsoft Azure and expertise in Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)
