Java Developer with Mockito

For our client, a leading company in consulting and digital transformation, we are looking for a talented Java Developer to join our App Cockpit team, contributing to the development of scalable and robust applications. This role is ideal for someone with solid backend experience and a good understanding of cloud and distributed systems.

Project information:

• Work Setup: 100% remote work

• Rate: 120 PLN/hour net + VAT (B2B contract)

• Languages: English (B2+ Required)

• Start date: ASAP/ depending on candidate availability

Project scope:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java

• Write and optimize SQL queries

• Implement unit tests using JUnit and Mockito

• Collaborate with frontend developers; basic knowledge of frontend frameworks is expected

• Work with Docker containers and cloud environments (preferably AWS)

• Apply design patterns and best practices in software development

• Contribute to the design and implementation of distributed systems

Requirements:

• Strong proficiency in Java

• Solid understanding of SQL

• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito)

• Basic knowledge of at least one frontend framework

• Hands-on experience with Docker

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

• Knowledge of design patterns

• Experience working with distributed systems

Nice to have:

• Experience with Angular

• Familiarity with Kubernetes (K8s)

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., Terraform)

• Understanding of NoSQL databases

• Experience in microservices architecture or system design

• Strong team collaboration and communication skills
