About the RoleWe are looking for a Senior Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer to support a long-term modernization initiative. The core objective of this role is to take full technical responsibility for converting existing NAV solutions from C/AL to AL and ensuring a future-proof, upgrade-safe Business Central architecture.

This is a hybrid engagement, with work partly from the office in Gdańsk and partly remote.

Role Overview

As a Senior Dynamics NAV / Business Central Developer, you will own the technical conversion process from C/AL to AL. You will be responsible for redesigning legacy customizations into modern extension-based solutions and ensuring alignment with Business Central best practices and long-term upgrade safety. You are expected to work independently, make architectural decisions, and act as a technical authority for the NAV → Business Central transformation.

Must-Have Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV.

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.

• Strong hands-on skills in C/AL (CAL).

• Strong hands-on skills in AL.

• Proven experience converting solutions from C/AL to AL.

• Experience with extension-based development in Business Central.

• Experience with event-driven architecture (Events & Subscribers).

• Solid understanding of the difference between:– Customizations to standard objects.– Business Central best practices and upgrade-safe design.

• Proficient in Visual Studio Code and AL development tooling.

• Experience in upgrade and/or migration projects (NAV → Business Central).

• Ability to take full ownership of technical delivery and conversion quality.

Nice-to-Have Requirements

• Experience with Business Central SaaS.

• Completed multiple NAV → Business Central upgrades.

• MB-800 certification.

• Previous Microsoft Dynamics NAV certifications.

Additional Information

• This is a hybrid role: 3 days remote / 2 days from the office in Tri-City.

• We are only considering candidates based in Tri-City.
