About the Role

We are looking for experienced SAP S/4HANA EAM Consultants to join a large-scale transformation program within the energy sector. The project focuses on SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration and modernization of Enterprise Asset Management processes.

We are seeking professionals who combine functional SAP expertise with strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and project delivery capabilities. The ideal consultant can bridge the gap between business and technology, helping translate requirements into scalable SAP solutions while supporting the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, super users, and project teams throughout the SAP S/4HANA transformation journey.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to maintenance and asset management processes.

• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend best-practice solutions aligned with SAP S/4HANA capabilities.

• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and collaborate closely with technical teams on solution design.

• Configure SAP PM/EAM functionalities to support business processes and project objectives.

• Support blueprinting, design workshops, testing activities, user training, and go-live preparation.

• Ensure smooth integration between SAP PM and other SAP modules, particularly MM and related logistics processes.

• Contribute to project documentation, process design, and solution governance.

• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, and testing teams.

• Support issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Must Have

• 10+ years of experience working with SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) / Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

• Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA implementation and migration programs.

• Strong understanding of SAP PM processes, maintenance operations, and asset management best practices.

• Experience configuring SAP PM modules and supporting business-critical implementations.

• Solid knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and user experience within S/4HANA.

• Strong experience gathering requirements and producing functional specifications, blueprints, and process documentation.

• Experience conducting fit-gap analysis and recommending S/4HANA-aligned solutions.

• Strong understanding of SAP integrations, particularly between PM and MM.

• Ability to communicate effectively between business stakeholders and technical teams.

• Experience supporting project phases including blueprinting, testing, training, cutover, and go-live.

• Fluent English.

Nice to Have

• Experience in SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA migration projects.

• Basic ABAP knowledge for troubleshooting and understanding custom developments.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure DevOps in SAP delivery environments.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.

• Experience within utilities, energy, or asset-intensive industries.

• Swedish language skills.
