About the Role.

The role focuses on mainframe development related to payment solutions. This position offers long-term stability within a critical systems environment.

Key Responsibilities.

• Development and maintenance of IBM Mainframe–based systems.

• Working with COBOL-based solutions supporting payment flows.

• Integration with external systems (e.g. Java-based systems).

• Ensuring reliability, performance, and security of solutions.

• Applying Test Driven Development and system development life cycle practices.

• Working in a SAFe / agile environment.

• Sharing knowledge and supporting team skill development.

• Leading mainframe-related tasks and mentoring junior team members when required.

Required Skills.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in software development.

• Strong hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe technologies.

• Very good knowledge of COBOL, JCL, Endevor, DB2, IMS, and CICS.

• Strong domain knowledge in cards and payments.

• Hands-on experience with system integrations.

• Experience working in agile / SAFe methodologies.

• Senior-level profile, able to work independently and take ownership.

Nice to Have.

• Professional experience with Adabas.

• Additional experience with IMS.

• Experience with backend systems supporting payments, especially mobile payments.

• Relocation to Tricity is possible.

• Relocation costs are fully covered by the company.

• Office presence is required 4 days per week.
