SAP BTP Developer/Consultant

CODA100 is looking for a skilled SAP BTP Developer/Consultant to collaborate on designing, building, and optimizing business applications and integrations using the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). In this key role, you will support clients in leveraging SAP BTP to expand their digital capabilities—whether by developing new applications, enhancing existing SAP landscapes, or integrating third-party solutions. 

Project Scope: 

The SAP BTP Developer/Consultant will contribute to creating and implementing cloud-based solutions on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). This includes designing custom applications, developing integrations between SAP and non-SAP systems, and configuring SAP BTP services like SAP Integration Suite, SAP Extension Suite, and SAP HANA Cloud. The position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and scalable solutions. 

Duties

Deliverables:  

• Design and implement custom applications using tools like SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Node.js, Java, or ABAP RESTful programming.
• Develop seamless integrations between SAP and third-party systems using SAP Integration Suite and APIs.
• Configure and leverage SAP BTP services, including workflow automation, business rules, data management, and subaccount management.
• Support the migration and optimization of existing applications to cloud-native technologies.
• Optimize data storage and management on SAP HANA Cloud for advanced analytics and application performance.
• Create detailed technical documentation to ensure scalability and maintainability.
• Provide ongoing support for applications, including performance optimization and troubleshooting. 

Responsibilities: 

• Application Development: Build and deploy cloud-based applications and extensions on SAP BTP using tools such as SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, CAP, Node.js, Java, or ABAP RESTful programming.
• System Integration: Design and implement interfaces between SAP and non-SAP systems using APIs and SAP Integration Suite.
• BTP Service Configuration: Configure and manage SAP BTP services, including workflow management, business rules, and cloud database services.
• Data Management: Optimize data models and processes using SAP HANA Cloud to ensure performance and scalability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and technical teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs.
• Security and Compliance: Ensure that all solutions comply with SAP’s security standards and industry regulations.
• Testing and Deployment: Conduct thorough testing, deploy applications, and support continuous improvements. 

Required skills

Skills and Qualifications: 

Education 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2+ years of hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) development and integrations.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model), and working with APIs for integration and development.
• Proven experience in building scalable, cloud-based applications and extensions.

Technicall Skills

• Hands-on experience with relevant technologies such as SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, Node.js, Java, or ABAP RESTful programming, with the ability to effectively apply these skills in cloud-based development.
• Strong knowledge of SAP Integration Suite, APIs, and OData services for seamless system integration.
• Experience with SAP Extension Suite, including workflow management, business rules, and cloud database services.
• Understanding of SAP HANA Cloud for data management and analytics.        

Certifications

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as SAP Cloud Platform, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
• SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP BTP Extension Developer (preferred).
• Additional certifications in SAP technologies (e.g., SAP HANA or Integration Suite) are a plus.
