Project Overview

• Client Industry: A global retail and distribution organization operating at a massive scale, combining brick-and-mortar stores with advanced e-commerce and supply-chain platforms.

• System Complexity: The role supports high-traffic systems covering pricing, logistics, payments, data analytics, and customer loyalty across multiple countries.

• Scope of Work: Designing, building, and maintaining robust automated test suites for web and mobile applications using Selenium and BDD frameworks (Cucumber).

• Key Focus: Enhancing and scaling test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API services to support high-traffic applications.

Collaboration Details

• Location: Kraków, Poland.

• Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).

• Duration: ASAP start with a long-term contract (minimum 12 months).

• Team Integration: Participate in sprint ceremonies, product demos, and release reviews as the quality champion within an agile squad.

Technical Requirements

Must Have

• Core Experience: 6+ years in Functional Requirement Gathering.

• Java: 6+ years of experience with Core Java.

• Automation Tools: 6+ years with Selenium and BDD Automation and 4+ years with Cucumber.

• API Testing: 4+ years in API Automation (Karate, Rest Assured) and 2+ years with Postman.

• Frameworks: 3+ years of experience in Automation Framework Implementation.

• DevOps & Tools: 2+ years with Git , 1+ year with Build Tools (Gradle/Maven) , and 1+ year with CI/CD via Jenkins.

• Database: 2+ years of experience in Database Testing.

• English: Proficiency at level B2

Nice to Have

• Mobile Automation: 2+ years with Appium, Calabash, or similar tools.

• Framework Knowledge: Specific familiarity with the Karate API Framework.

• Monitoring: 1+ year of experience with Splunk.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage clear test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure full traceability and coverage.

• Execute both manual and automated test cases while tracking defects using Jira.

• Perform functional and integration testing to ensure services and components work seamlessly.

• Integrate automated test suites directly into CI/CD pipelines
