Senior Java Engineer

✅The project involves a modern SaaS platform designed for managing testing processes in large organizations. The client focuses on system modernization — breaking down a monolith, optimizing data storage, and improving performance. The platform handles heavy workloads and requires scalability and high reliability in a production environment.

What we expect

👉At least 5 years of commercial experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate

👉Familiar with AWS and can work with cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.)

👉Knowledge how to use Docker Compose and have a basic understanding of containerization

👉Experience in application monitoring using Datadog, BetterStack, or similar tools

👉Proficient in English at a minimum B2 level—daily work is conducted in English

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend development (Angular, TypeScript)

• Knowledge of Kubernetes and managing production environments in containers

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins)

• Knowledge of Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools

• Experience with test automation and working on SaaS products

• Ability to optimize system performance and scalability

Your roles and responsibilites

• Development and maintenance of the backend in Java/Spring and creating/optimizing APIs

• Modernizing the system architecture and breaking down the monolith into scalable services

• Working with databases (PostgreSQL) and query optimization

• Deploying and maintaining environments using Docker Compose and AWS

• Monitoring applications and resolving incidents using tools like Datadog

• Collaboration with the frontend team and other product teams, ensuring code quality and tests
