Business Analyst

We are seeking an exceptional Business Analyst to join the team of a key client of ours. A leading financial institution in Warsaw. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in bridging business needs with technological solutions, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead complex business analysis projects across multiple departments within the financial institution
• Develop comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) and functional specifications
• Conduct in-depth analysis of existing business processes and recommend optimization strategies
• Collaborate with senior management, IT teams, and external stakeholders to define and implement technological solutions
• Manage and mentor a team of junior business analysts
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and workshops
• Create detailed process flow diagrams and documentation
• Support project management and implementation efforts

Skills

Advanced proficiency in:

• Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
• Requirements management software (JIRA, Confluence)
• Process modeling tools (Bizagi, Enterprise Architect)
• Experience with financial software systems and ERP platforms
• Basic understanding of data analysis and SQL
• Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
• Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) guidelines
• GDPR compliance
• knowledge of financial regulations

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field
• Minimum 4+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services
• Proven track record of leading complex business transformation projects
• Professional certifications preferred:
• CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional)
• PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis)
• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
