Sitting between procurement, delivery, and technology, this role is about owning the full flow from workshops to a clean, actionable backlog. With a mix of hands-on business analysis, strong P2P domain knowledge, and deep familiarity with Azure DevOps, you’ll help an enterprise client turn procurement change ideas into clearly scoped, deliverable work.

As a Senior Business Analyst (Procurement), you’ll join a network of practitioners who know how to navigate demanding stakeholders, clarify scope, and keep delivery on track through well-managed backlogs.

This role sits at the centre of procurement change and enhancement work. You’ll own the workshop → requirements → user stories → backlog → grooming flow in Azure DevOps for procure-to-pay (P2P) initiatives. Oracle Fusion knowledge is valuable, but your core value is rigorous BA delivery and hands-on Azure DevOps practice in an enterprise environment.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Business Analyst (Procurement) at Calimala, you’ll lead discovery and delivery in settings where expectations are high and ambiguity is normal. One engagement may involve running a series of workshops to map P2P processes and define enhancements; another might focus on refining and maintaining a live backlog across multiple sprints and teams.

You’ll run workshops, capture requirements, and translate them into well-structured user stories with acceptance criteria. You’ll manage Azure DevOps Boards day-to-day—prioritising, splitting, grooming, and maintaining hygiene—while acting as a bridge between demanding business stakeholders and delivery teams.

Who we're looking for

You’re a senior, hands-on BA who is comfortable owning the full analysis and backlog lifecycle without constant guidance. You understand P2P in practice and you treat Azure DevOps as your primary operating environment. Oracle Fusion is familiar territory (or adjacent), but it’s not where your value begins or ends.

You’ve likely worked on large procurement or platform change programs where success depended on strong BA fundamentals and disciplined backlog management. • Significant experience as a Senior Business Analyst delivering autonomously in complex, enterprise environments

• Proven ability to run discovery workshops with demanding stakeholders: requirements elicitation, process mapping (as-is / to-be), and gap analysis

• Track record of converting ambiguity into clear scope, decisions, and tangible deliverables

• Strong experience producing high-quality functional requirements and user stories that dev teams can implement

• Hands-on expertise with Azure DevOps Boards (must-have):

  • Writing user stories / PBIs with clear acceptance criteria

  • Managing backlogs: prioritisation, splitting, refinement, and dependency tracking

  • Leading grooming/refinement sessions with developers

  • Maintaining work item hygiene, links, and traceability

• Solid domain knowledge in procure-to-pay (P2P): requisitions, approvals, purchase orders, receiving, invoice matching, controls, vendor management

• Understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud (ideally Procurement) or Oracle EBS with credible Fusion exposure is a strong nice-to-have, not the primary discriminator

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with senior stakeholders; confident in expectation management and alignment across business and IT
