As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will work as an integral part of our team for a big foreign clients.
You will be responsible for successful delivery of IT projects to meet or exceed customer expectations at the same time as managing scope and keeping within agreed time, budget and quality expectations.
In addition to solid project management skills, this person must be a skilled communicator to ensure they can both identify risks and sensitively address and manage risk resolution both internally and with very senior stakeholders within very large customers.
You will be responsible for:
Be a primary point of contact for the customer’s lead contact
Professionally manage each project to meet or exceed external and internal customer expectations.
Ensure that effective risk management and communications are maintained throughout the lifecycle. Communicate / disseminate information between stakeholders to facilitate issue-resolution.
Ensures that comprehensive project, quality, and risk plans are prepared, maintained and actively managed;
Coordinate project plan, project activities including daily standups, weekly project meetings, and fortnightly steering committee meetings with senior management
Ensure project tolerances (budget, time, quality) are monitored and any risks or issues are identified early, tracked and resolved effectively.
Be responsible for the successful completion of all tasks through the project team - including those relating to technical, financial and communication tasks.
Understand and document detailed business requirements and translate business needs into technical systems and process improvement solutions
Delivers excellent reports internally on delivery status, key performance indicators, etc; in a consistent, timely and accurate manner;
Identify process enhancements and drive improvement initiatives
Provide guidance and assistance in establishing a governance framework built around milestones, monitoring adherence to programs of work
Drive solutions by eliminating obstacles through on-going effective communication and alignment
Provide expertise and advice to ensure projects reflect consistency with operations strategy
What you will need:
Minimum 8 years of practical knowledge in the area of project management
Experience with end to end project delivery, including contracting, execution, finance management
Experience with Pharmaceutical or Manufacturing and Supply Chain business processes and IT projects and solutions
Ability to manage and/or supervise multiple projects at a time
Excellent command of English (min.C1) and Polish
Practical knowledge of Agile (Scrum) and waterfall methodologies. We mostly work on T&M projects where results matter
Proactive approach and goal-oriented mindset, research, problem solving and analytical skills
Experience in working with data, data visualization
Ability to work independently and take the lead
Proven knowledge or certification of a formal project management methodology (e.g., PMP)
Strong communication ability (verbal & written)
Able to multitask and work managing multiple projects at the same time
Initiative, enthusiasm, and commitment
Quick to assimilate and use new information
Nice to have:
Experience with data engineering, analytics, AI/ML, or cloud projects
Knowledge of modern data platforms (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, etc.)
Understanding of APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture
Experience in regulated industries
