Java Developer (e-commerce system)

The project of development of an e-commerce system for a client in the manufacturing industry.

The system’s users will be installers and companies working with the client’s components, and through this system they should be able to order the client’s products.

Our expectations

-Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Java programming (8+)

-Very good knowledge of:

• Spring / Spring Boot

• Hibernate / JPA

• REST API, JSON, HTTP

• Maven or Gradle

• Git

-Experience working with relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL)

-Knowledge of design patterns and good programming practices (Clean Code, SOLID)

-Experience working with CI/CD systems (e.g. Jenkins, GitLab CI, Bamboo)

-Ability to write unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, etc.)

-Experience working in Agile/Scrum methodologies

-Good command of English - B1/B2 (reading documentation, participating in project meetings)

-Willingness to travel to Katowice once a month (team meeting / integration / sprint planning)

Nice to have

• Knowledge of front-end technologies (e.g. React, Angular, or Vue)

• Experience with Kotlin or Micronaut / Quarkus

• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience working with cloud environments (AWS / Azure / GCP)

• Participation in projects based on microservices architecture
