Data Scientist (e-commerce)

Projects for client from the e-commerce industry in the areas of machine learning and large-scale data processing.

• Programming languages: Python, Scala, advanced SQL

• Cloud Platform / ML Tools: GCP (Google Cloud Platform), Vertex AI, BigQuery

• Data Processing: Apache Spark

• Orchestration / Monitoring: Airflow, Looker Studio

• Education: Completed higher education (Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field)

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Data Science

• Production Experience: Proven experience in deploying ML models to production environments (models running in production)

• Data Scale: Experience working with large-scale data and models

• Business Problem Solving: Ability to translate business challenges into ML problems and solve them effectively using innovative approaches

• ML / Statistical Knowledge: Advanced understanding of statistical methods and machine learning techniques

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise

• Data Types: Experience working with diverse data types (tabular, natural language, image, time series)

• Growth Mindset: Willingness to grow in the area of backend development (Kotlin)
