What You'll Be Doing
Building Vision Systems – Design, train, and deploy computer vision models for game analysis, action recognition, and tactical understanding
Transformer Mastery – Implement and optimize transformer architectures (video-focused and multimodal models) for our specific use cases
Training at Scale – Develop models on massive gaming datasets using our custom training infrastructure. You'll have serious compute and PhD researchers to collaborate with
Production Engineering – Take models from research to production. Optimize inference, handle edge cases, ensure reliability for thousands of concurrent users
Pushing Boundaries – Contribute to technical architecture decisions and help define our computer vision roadmap across gaming and defence applications
Key Challenges
Real-Time Performance – Processing high-resolution game footage with complex transformer models while maintaining sub-second latency
Domain Adaptation – Making vision transformers work for gaming scenarios that differ significantly from standard datasets
Scale vs. Speed – Balancing model complexity with training time and inference costs when working with millions of scenarios
Multimodal Fusion – Combining visual information with game state data, player actions, and temporal context for intelligent analysis
What You Need to Bring
Deep Computer Vision Expertise – You've built and shipped production CV systems. You understand CNNs, transformers, attention mechanisms, and when to use each
Python & ML Frameworks – PyTorch or TensorFlow mastery. You can implement architectures from papers and debug training dynamics
Production Mindset – You've deployed models real users depend on. You think about latency, throughput, error handling, and monitoring
Systems Thinking – You understand the full stack from data pipelines to model serving
Bonus Points – Action recognition, 3D computer vision, published research, gaming/esports background
