About the role

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP Consultant(Node.js) who will join a project for our client from the pharmaceutical industry.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, and SAP BTP technologies.

• Build scalable cloud-native applications using SAP CAP Model, SAP Cloud Foundry or SAP Kyma environments.

• Integrate SAP HANA Cloud and ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance data processing for monitoring solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IoT engineers, frontend developers, QA specialists, and business stakeholders.

• Ensure compliance with pharma industry standards and contribute to technical documentation, knowledge sharing, and mentoring activities.

What we are looking for

• Commercial experience in backend development with Node.js and strong knowledge of JavaScript and/or TypeScript.

• Hands-on experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), especially CAP Model, SAP Cloud Foundry or SAP Kyma, and SAP HANA Cloud.

• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, asynchronous programming, event-driven architecture, and security/authorization concepts within SAP BTP.

• Familiarity with pharmaceutical compliance standards such as GAMP, FDA/EMA guidelines, or temperature-sensitive product monitoring processes will be a strong advantage.

• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving mindset, and experience working in collaborative international teams.
