About the role

We are seeking an experienced IDP / Intelligent Document Processing Consultant to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI-driven document processing - Further development and optimization of AI-based document recognition and extraction to increase automation rates.

• End-to-end invoice and document workflow - Improvement of end-to-end workflows from document intake to downstream processing (e.g., AP/SAP integration).

• Workflow automation & integration - Design and implementation of workflow improvements and automations using low-code/no-code tools such as Microsoft Power Automate where appropriate.

• Consulting, coordination & documentation - Moderation of coordination meetings, knowledge transfer to nearshore teams, and business user training.

Requirements:

·       Strong experience with AI-driven document processing / Intelligent Document Processing (IDP).

·       Solid understanding of document workflows, invoice processing, and exception/error handling.

·       Proven experience in analyzing, simplifying, and refactoring complex process landscapes.

·       Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business departments, IT teams, and nearshore units.

·       Very good English skills, both written and spoken (at least B2/C1).

·       Willingness to travel and coordinate with nearshore teams is required.

Nice to Have:

·       Practical experience with OCR/IDP platforms.

·       Knowledge of workflow automation tools (e.g., Microsoft Power Automate).

·       Basic understanding of SAP-based invoice or AP processes.

·       Experience working with nearshore or international teams (e.g., Cluj, Romania).

·       Romanian and German language skills are a plus.
