We are searching for a Domain Architect with focus on cloud

This position is based at our friendly office in Warsaw, Poland, or Roskilde, Denmark, and you will join our Domain & Program Architecture area. The team oversee the overall architecture across BECs platform, this include driving the platform target state and helping the domain to turn it into transitional steps. The team is the direct link between our strategy, our product visions and how we execture on it. Consequently, a very important role in enabling and driving technical transformation in BEC.

The domain architect aligns with Product Management and Development, and interprets the strategy and the aspiration, and then delivers the answer to how we do it. Target state is the driver, extended from Product aspirations, and roadmap is how we execute.

The Domain Architect is embedded in the Cloud domain and works independently and self-managed.

At BEC, we prefer to collaborate, and this is mostly done in the office. We do, however, have the opportunity to work remotely up to eight days per month.

Primary task and responsibilities include:

• Description and visualization of AS-IS architecture for the cloud platform

• Description and visualization of TO-BE (target state) architecture

• Description and visualization of roadmap options, risks, tradeoffs, and opportunities

• Provide technology leadership within the domain, and create and maintain followership across development teams

• Collaboration on aligning software engineering and tool stack strategies with Cloud architecture

• Engage with other BEC domains, providing guidance on Cloud opportunities and migration

• Participate in vendor relationship activities, with focus on aligning architecture across entities

• Close collaboration with Enterprise Architects and Domain Architects

• Engage with the Product Management and Domain/Program strategic leadership

• As BEC is operating in both Denmark and Poland some occasionally travelling will be expected

To succeed you will have: 

• Microsoft Azure Cloud expertise – evangelist, guru-level

• Architecture skills, mature methods

• Hands-on experience with migration of a complex tech stack to cloud

• Excellent collaboration, communication and leadership skills

• Experience from finance and banking

• Experience with mainframe-based applications
