Technical Project Manager – Delivery
We are looking for a technically skilled Project Manager who can take full ownership of complex system deployments for CSPs (Communication Service Providers). This role goes far beyond coordination – you’ll work hands-on with networks, servers, APIs, and distributed systems, guiding both the client and our engineering teams through the technical delivery process.
AVSystem’s products enable device management, service activation, and monitoring for global CSP leaders like AT&T, Orange, T-Mobile, and Vodafone. To succeed here, you must be fluent in the language of TCP/IP, Layer 7 protocols, virtualization, and modern applications – including how distributed components communicate through APIs, message brokers, and databases – and equally confident in planning, communicating, and delivering projects end-to-end.
In this role, you will
Own IT project management and the technical delivery of complex system deployments for CSPs – from requirements definition to production rollout.
Plan and coordinate project execution, including technical workshops, environment preparation, integrations, and acceptance phases.
Participate in technical discussions (internal and external) as a subject-matter expert – bridging the gap between client operations teams and AVSystem engineers.
Translate customers’ technical requirements into actionable engineering tasks, ensuring clarity and feasibility.
Take part directly in deployment activities, including system configuration, verification, and troubleshooting.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders, providing clear updates on status, dependencies, and technical decisions.
Continuously improve our delivery methodologies, tools, and templates based on real-world project experience.
Train customers’ technical teams on how to operate and maintain our systems effectively after deployment.
Requirements
Possessing broad and deep understanding of core technologies, including:
Computer networks and the TCP/IP stack (switching & routing, CCNA-level or above),
Protocols / technologies: CWMP (TR-069), TR-369, HTTP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, XMPP, and PKI,
Linux systems (RHCSA-level, RHCE will help), containers, basics of k8s, Openshift,
Servers, APIs, application architecture, observability tools,
Virtualization and cloud environments.
Proven experience in delivering complex software or infrastructure projects – ideally within the CSP domain or in a similar environment (software vendor, CPE device manufacturers, or system integrator).
Outcome-oriented, focused on getting things done on time and to a high technical standard.
Skilled at breaking down complex deployments into clear, manageable steps and ensuring technical dependencies are met.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in telecommunications, ICT, computer science, or related fields.
Proficient in English (C1 or higher) – both spoken and written.
Nice to have
Experience delivering solutions in on-premises and IaaS environments – GCP, AWS.
Understanding of multi-server architectures, load balancers, and high-availability setups.
Familiarity with REST API automation using external tools (e.g., Postman, Python scripts, or CI jobs).
Knowledge of access technologies such as xDSL, xPON, HFC, LTE, and their management interfaces.
Hands-on experience with OLT or network device management (CLI, NMS) from vendors such as Nokia, Huawei, or ZTE.
Previous experience with IT monitoring systems (as an administrator or advanced user).
Background in network design, systems integration, or application administration of complex environments.
PMP or equivalent project management certification will be considered an advantage.
What we offer
You’ll work on deployments that actually matter – systems managing millions of connected devices across the globe. Real networks, real scale, real engineering.
No endless approval chains. You’ll have the freedom to make both technical and organizational decisions and see their real-world impact.
Expect complex integrations, multi-vendor environments, and tricky customer setups – not “status update theater”.
You’ll collaborate with skilled engineers and TPMs who value clarity, responsibility, and a good sense of humor more than job titles.
Whether you want to take on larger delivery responsibilities or deepen your technical expertise, we’ll support your growth in the direction that fits you best.
Polish tech, built in-house, deployed globally. Flat structure, fast decisions, and a genuinely friendly atmosphere.
Fully remote or hybrid work (3/5 from Kraków office), flexible working hours.
Perks and benefits:
Generous bonus system that recognizes delivering on your commitments,
Private medical care and Multisport card,
Onsite gym and chillout space,
Company’s own parking and bike room,
Kitchen full of snacks (including Good Lood ice cream),
Relaxed work atmosphere – no dress code, no open space.
