Our client, a software development SME, is offering an exciting opportunity for a Software Developer skilled in Open Source technologies (Java, JavaScript) and DevOps tools (Kubernetes, Istio, Kyverno, Cilium, CNCF, Prometheus) to join their Research, Development, and Innovation (RDI) department. This is a full-time, remote position that involves frequent travel to project meetings across Europe.

The company is actively engaged in several multimillion-euro RDI projects funded by the European Commission under the Horizon Europe program. These projects focus on Cybersecurity, Future Internet, Factories of the Future, IoT, and Big Data, and involve collaboration with leading ICT companies and institutions at both European and global levels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Lead software development, deployment, integration, and testing activities.
• Contribute to innovative European RDI projects with global partners.
• Travel across Europe to represent the company in project meetings.
• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies in the fields of cybersecurity and innovation.

• At least 4+ years of experience in professional software development, with a focus on cybersecurity.
• Strong knowledge of Open Source and DevOps technologies.
• Experience with Git and agile methodologies.
