Senior BI - Data Engineer

Role Description

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior BI - Data Engineer to join our team in Wrocław. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data engineering solutions that empower our business intelligence capabilities. Your daily duties will include working with large databases and data warehouses, optimizing data flows, and ensuring the reliability and security of our data systems. You will leverage your expertise in Azure services and Databricks to build efficient data pipelines and deliver insights that drive strategic decisions. Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of this role, as you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop end-to-end solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.

Requirements

• At least 4-5 years of experience in data engineering.
• Proficient with Azure cloud service platform.
• Documented experience with large databases and data warehouses.
• Experience in Databricks: Delta Tables, DLT, Unity Catalog, performance tuning, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure OpenAI Service.
• Fluency in Python and PySpark.
• Familiarity with modern data modeling and design concepts.
• Ability to design simplified E2E Azure solution architectures.
• Agility - flexibility in task execution in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms in Azure.
• Experience using version control (Git) with Azure DevOps.
• Practical experience with Generative AI Fundamentals/Basics and MLOps.
• Preferred experience in the automotive industry (advantage).
• Ability to work in an international environment using English.
• Teamwork skills - focus on sharing and collaboration.
• Responsibility in work.
