Job Requirements
Education
University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field
Language
Fluent English (written and spoken), German is a plus
Functional Skills
Strong technical knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition) architecture and lifecycle management
Experience with SAP Cloud ALM, SAP IAS/IPS, SAP BTP integration and SAP Identity Access Management
SAP HANA database administration (backup/recovery, performance tuning)
Understanding of cloud infrastructure principles (networking, security, identity management)
Experience with change, transport and release management in cloud environments
SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and SAP security best practices
Familiarity with automation tools, APIs and monitoring solutions
Competencies

Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Basis administration in complex SAP landscapes
Hands-on experience with SAP HANA, SAP BTP connectivity and cloud integrations
Experience with SaaS environments, cloud security and ITIL framework is an advantage
Job Purpose
The SAP Cloud System Administrator is responsible for technical administration, performance optimization and lifecycle management of SAP S/4HANA Cloud (Public Edition). The role ensures system stability, security and efficient operation of the SAP cloud environment.
The position acts as a subject matter expert for SAP Basis topics in the cloud, providing technical guidance and supporting continuous improvement across SAP landscapes.
Key Responsibilities
Manage SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud environment in line with SAP cloud architecture standards
Monitor system health and performance using SAP Cloud ALM
Coordinate incident, change and problem management activities
Support integrations between S/4HANA Cloud, SAP BTP and other systems
Participate in release management, upgrades and maintenance activities
Ensure compliance with SAP security standards and manage user access
Provide guidance for extensions, APIs and data integrations
Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, global teams and external partners

System availability aligned with SLA targets
Timely resolution of incidents and service requests
Stable system performance and response times
Successful change and release execution without unplanned downtime
Compliance with security and governance standards
Positive stakeholder feedback on system reliability and support quality
